(I just got a message stating it maybe a LT4 ? rocker set up?) It useless to me until its adjustable. If I cut two new retainer grooves / then separate them - all in the lathe- YES I would loose some of the inherent strength- but I would be essentially converting them to adjustable stud mount. ( which is just about all I use- period).Normally the adjustment( for shaft mount rockers) would be push rod side of the rocker( like my Donovan/early Chrysler stuff was) or use adjustable push rods. Maintains lash and reduces necessary and tedious engine maintenance. If these were used with a solid flat tappet / or a solid roller there would be no adjustment at all. Chrome moly steel hardened and ground roller tips of generous diameter (positively retained by internal circlip) preventing abrasion of valve tips and guides commonly seen with non-roller tip rockers.High ratios allow for additional lift on stock and aftermarket camshafts. Various ratios available, catering for every camshaft grind.Extruded from aircraft grade aluminium, perfect for dissipating excess top-end heat.Intricately balanced CNC billet arms ensuring vital valvetrain stability - focusing attention on the harmony of the entire engine.Oversize full-complement caged bearings designed for oscillating (rocking) loads, paired with oversize precision ground trunnions to reduce friction.Built to withstand 600lbs* max open spring pressure.Ideal for harsh street and strip applications, these rockers have got what it takes to last! Our wide range of true ratios allows you to achieve high lift without relying solely on your camshaft…a trend many engine builders and racers alike are adopting to relieve the inertia on lifters and pushrods generated by aggressive and often violent ramp rates required to make big lift. Manufactured and assembled in Australia using the highest quality materials and componentry consistent with those found in our Platinum race series. No other comparable product can compete with 600lbs* maximum open spring pressure whilst retaining factory size bolt-down hardware. If fitting screw in studs, machining is required.ĭesigned for high revving street/strip applications. Traditional stud mount rocker designed to either use original factory 3/8" press-in studs or 'screw in' 3/8"-7/16" aftermarket rocker studs.
